About this place
Seonjeongneung Royal Tombs is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of Gangnam, comprising the tombs of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon (Seolleung) and King Jungjong (Jeongneung) of the Joseon dynasty. These royal tombs, nestled within dense pine forests, offer a remarkable contrast to the surrounding skyscrapers of Teheran-ro and COEX. The serene grounds provide a peaceful retreat from the busy city, popular for morning walks among local residents. Admission is just 1,000 KRW for adults, making it one of Seoul's most accessible historical attractions. The site is a 5-minute walk from Exit 8 of Seolleung Station on subway lines 2 and Bundang Line.
