About this place

Yeouido Hangang Park sits along the northern bank of the Han River in Yeouido, Seoul's hub of finance, politics, and media, and is directly connected to Yeoinaru Station on Subway Line 5, making it one of the city's most accessible riverside retreats. The park hosts the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival each spring and the World Fireworks Festival each autumn, while facilities such as the Water Light Square, waterside fountains, and a yacht marina keep visitors engaged year-round. It is equally renowned for its picnic and chimaek culture against a backdrop of Han River sunsets, and its adjacent Bamseom islet and Saetgang stream preserve relatively intact natural ecosystems.
