The gate stands on a public road over the pass and can be walked through at any hour. The Hanyangdoseong Section 1 wall path that starts here and crosses Bugaksan keeps seasonal hours — 07:00–18:00 (Mar–Apr, Sep–Oct), 07:00–19:00 (May–Aug), 09:00–17:00 (Nov–Feb). It is open year-round, and the Changuimun information post is staffed.
